Obituary For Katherine Marie Schulte

Katherine Marie Schulte, 64, of Florence, KY passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at The Villages of Erlanger. She was born October 2, 1959 in Dayton, KY to Thomas and Geraldine Hundemer. Kathy grew up in the Northern Kentucky area and was a graduate of Dixie Heights Class of 77’. She was a member of Mary, Queen of Heaven parish in Erlanger, KY. She enjoyed planting flowers, crafting and working with ceramics however she had her greatest joy in spending time with family, bowling and taking trips to Lake Cumberland.

Kathy leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Ken Schulte, her beloved son, Stanley Schulte (Courtney Barlow-Schulte), her dear mother, Gerry Hundemer, her grandchildren: Hugo, Sebastian and Otto Schulte, her siblings: Steve Hundemer, Ken Hundemer (Nancy), Jennifer Batts, and Mark Hundemer (Miriam Dixon-Hundemer), and several other loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hundemer and her brother, Jeff Hundemer.

A visitation will be held for Kathy, on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following at 12:00 PM. Kathy will be laid to rest with family in private at St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, KY.

Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Kathy to The ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter at 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, OH 43220 or to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
