Kathryn “Nancy” Belcher, age 71, passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born on February 25, 1955, and lived a life full of love, adventure, and meaningful connections.

Nancy had a deep passion for traveling and found joy in exploring new places and experiencing the world around her. She carried that sense of adventure into her everyday life, sharing stories and memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her longtime love, Vernon Vanover; her son, Jeffery Smith; her daughter, Ann Jacks; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought comfort and happiness to her family.

Nancy will be remembered for her warm spirit, her love of life, and the special bond she shared with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation and Services on April 23, 2026 at Don Catchen Family Funeral Home at 3525 Dixie Highway, Elsmere KY 41018. Visitation will be from 5pm - 7pm and Funeral Service at 7pm.

Burial will be April 24, 2026 at Higgins Bottom Cemetery in Whitley County, KY.
