Obituary For Kenneth Bruce Dewberry
Kenneth Bruce Dewberry of Cold Spring, Kentucky, son of Clarence and Isabel (Hoerauf) Dewberry, born 1938 in Covington, Kentucky has entered into eternal rest in the arms of our Lord on January 27, 2026.
In 1958, Ken married Patricia Feucht, whom has since preceded him in death. Together, they raised three children, Jeff Dewberry (Cathy), Greg Dewberry and Kim Mayes Springer (Janet).
Ken is survived by his wife of 37 years, Diane (Dewald) Dewberry and their additional children, Kathy Sketch (Stan) and Joni Koeninger (Paul).
Ken graduated from Newport High School in 1956. He continued his education by obtaining an advanced professional degree from the University of Cincinnati's School of Pharmacology.
With his new credentials in hand, Ken began his career as a pharmacist in the rural area of Kentucky, contributing to help fulfill a local need.
A few years later, he came back home to his roots in Northern Kentucky, by joining owner Clarence Martin to spend the remaining 47 years as a pharmacist at Martin's Pharmacy on Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring, Kentucky. It was during these years, Kenneth became known and loved by many of his fellow peers, neighbors, and friends.
During his lifetime, Ken was a roadster who enjoyed his hobby of cars; fishing, hunting, sled riding and playing tennis with his sons Jeff and Greg, traveling and fishing with his wife Diane, playing cards and bingo with his contemporaries and others at the Campbell County Senior Center. But, most of all, he enjoyed anytime he spent with all of his family.
Besides his wife and five children, Ken has been blessed with a large extended family, including: 13 grandchildren: Brooke Dawn (Jake), Paige Biggs (Tim), Dakota Dewberry, Stephen Mayes (Ida), Katie Mayes, Tricia Mayes, Chris Springer, Haley Mayes Springer, Stephanie Sketch-Durr (Chuck), Brian Sketch (proceeded him in death), Samantha Sketch, Kevin Koeninger (Brandy), Lisa VanDerKleed (Drew). His 11 great grandchildren: Evelyn, Eleanor, Ruthie, Isabel, Alfred, Ava (Hunter), Carson, Peyton, Kendra, Logan (preceded him in death), and Connor. One great-great grandchild: Ryver.
The family will hold a private service.
