Obituary For Kenneth John Robert Steffen
Kenneth John Robert Steffen, 76, passed away on April 8, 2026 at his home in Bardstown, KY. Kenneth was born on March 2, 1950 in Covington, KY to parents Robert Frank and Anna Marie Steffen.
Kenny graduated from Bishop Brossart High School in Alexandria, KY. He served in the United States Army as a cook and worked as a truck driver for most of his life. His time working for Hudepohl Brewery was the highlight of his career where he won several awards in sales.
In his younger years, his favorite pastimes were going to the race track, playing cards, and enjoying friends and family at the Beacon Inn, the family-owned saloon. In his older years, going to sporting events supporting his grandkids became his most treasured moments. Kenny was a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan, and was the proud father of his daughter and son-in-law, both graduates of the University of Kentucky.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Robert Ryan (Brother), Norbert Steffen (Brother), Dick Steffen (Brother), and Audrey (Andy) Racke (Sister).
Kenneth is survived by his loving bride Mary Ann (nee Hehman) Steffen; daughter Robbin (Timothy) Sizemore, grandchildren: Olivia Phoenix (Granddaughter), Andre Sizemore (Grandson), Cole Sizemore (Grandson), Carter Sizemore (Grandson), Audrey Sizemore (Granddaughter), Maxwell Wordui (Grandson); niece Amy Racke; and great-nephews Gregg, Drew and Avery Racke, great-niece Dori Racke, and great-great-niece, Isabella.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at Noon. Burial will take place at St Mary Cemetery in Alexandria, KY.
