Obituary For Kenneth Richard Lackey
Kenneth Richard Lackey, 75, of Newport, Kentucky passed away on April 6, 2026.
He was the son of Richard “Dick” Lackey and Betty Cooper. He proudly served in the Army Reserves for 7 years. He worked for many years as a Master Carpenter and was a Construction Company Owner. He was a member of the Newport Eagles and the American Legion.
He is survived by his sons Mark (Beth) Lackey and Doug (Keri) Lackey, daughter Jerica Lackey, sister Linda (Leigh) Miller and 8 grandchildren.
Services are private for the family.

he was fun to grow up with, he collected turtles as a kid, wrote his phone # on the shell, and evaluated how far they traveled. He loved cherry bombs and tnt's on4th of july. rubber ball at the dead end of street. what fun!
