Obituary For Larry Leon Hall

Larry Leon Hall, 78, of Crittenden, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Larry was born on November 7, 1947 in Cob Hill, Kentucky to his mother, Wilma Hall. Larry enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After his military discharge, Larry continued his path of servitude and became a police officer in Northern Kentucky. Larry served with multiple departments, but ended his career and retired as a member of the Erlanger Kentucky Police Department.

During his career in law enforcement, Larry was known for his compassion, dedication, and leadership. He was committed to serving his community and touched the lives of many. Larry enjoyed photography and spending times outdoors. He will be remembered for his humor, his strength, and that smile that could light up an entire room.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Brandy Exeler (Brandon) and Tonya Hall (Jason), his 7 grandchildren, Madison Jackson (Joshua), Drew Hensley, Emalee Taylor, Ashlee Taylor, Jonathan Hensley (Riley), Kaitlyn Taylor, and Nathan Hensley. He is also survived by his 2 great-grandchildren, Greyson and Aliza Jackson and his siblings, Debbie Lawson (Dave), Darlene Hamlin (the late Roger Hamlin), Donna Bates (Bill), and Wayne Hall. He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma Thompson, his step-father Daley Thompson, and sister Diane Youngman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Northern Kentucky Chapel 4350 Dixie Highway Erlanger, Kentucky 41018

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
