Obituaries

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Bambach (Larry), 82 years old on February 28, 2026.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a member of 7-Hills Church in Florence, KY. Larry was passionate about his faith and love for his family. He was always known for his kind and gentle spirit and had a heart of gold.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Bambach, brother John, and young daughters Christine and Francine.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Carol of 37 years and son Larry (Crystal) Bambach Jr., his brother Jim (Donna) Bambach and sister Kate Gayheart (Ken-preceded), sister-in-law Jan Bambach, along with many nieces and nephews. Stepdaughters; Julie (Gary) Melton and Teresa (Jason) Tunstall and 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the Family at Peach Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
