Obituary For Leeman Vicars
Leeman Vicars, age 89, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Covenant Village in Cincinnati, OH. He was a retired butcher for Kahns & Sara Lee, where he worked for over 30 years, and was a longtime member of First Love Community Fellowship Church.
Leeman was known as a true “prayer warrior” with a deep love for Scripture. He enjoyed making knives, reloading ammunition, and playing the guitar. In his younger years, he also loved spending time outdoors. Above all, Leeman cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrtle Louise Vicars; his parents, Mack and Ellen Vicars; siblings, Harley Vicars, Maxine Hammons, Jewell Parker, Reid Vicars, Thomas Vicars, and Pat Vicars; and his grandson, Anthony Vicars.
Leeman is survived by his children, Edward Vicars (Sandy), Pamela Ernest (Rick), Deborah Rogers (Mike), Scott Vicars (Tonya), Kevin Vicars, and Keith Vicars (Mary); his sister, Violet Joppeck; twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 10:30 a.m. His committal service will take place at Independence Cemetery.
