Obituary For Leo Allen Backscheider
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our son, Leo Allen Backscheider, on November 21, 2025. Born on July 24, 2025, Leo brought immense joy, light, and warmth to everyone who knew him during his beautiful time on earth.
Leo is cherished and forever loved by his parents Brennan and Megan Backscheider (nee Barrow), his twin sister Lily, and his big brother Lucas, who will always carry his memory close in their hearts. He is also survived by his Grams, Kathy Barrow, Grandpa, Jim Backscheider (Paula Walter), as well as uncle Michael Barrow (Marion) and aunt Molley Kier (Asiel), and cousins Amari, Elijah and Ginny. He was preceded in death and welcomed with loving arms into the afterlife by his Papaw Ron Barrow.
His life, though brief, was a gift—reminding all who loved him of the power of hope, the beauty of small moments, and the depth of unconditional love.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave, Ft. Thomas, with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
