Linda Larene Schadler (nee Downs) Risch, 79, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on October 20, 2026. Born on June 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Downs Risch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Michael Schadler; and siblings, Robert Risch, Jay Risch, and Renee Risch.

Linda is survived by her children, Joseph Schadler (Debbie), Deborah Smith (Todd), Jeffrey Schadler (Yoli), Dena Landrum (Jeff), Danielle Payton (Clinton), and Jason Schadler; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her siblings, Albert Risch (Darlene), Millie Banks (Lee), and Sherry Gillespie (Jason); and her cat, Baby Boy.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to those who stood beside Linda and offered unwavering love and support throughout her journey: Dr. Gabby, Nurse Laura, and the compassionate team at Saint Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 11 am until 2 pm with a service following at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at The Park Place Community Center at Pride Park, 5606 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY from 3 pm until 6 pm. Donated refreshments will be accepted and appreciated at the Pride Park Community Center for drop off after 11 am.
