Obituary For Linda Lou Justice
Linda Lou Justice (Vaughan) of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Dallas Justice, parents; June (Carrie) Vaughan, Brother; Billy (Maureen) Vaughan.
Linda was born in Covington, Kentucky, and spent her entire life in Walton. After high school, she married Dallas Justice, and together they raised three children. When Dallas passed away unexpectedly at the age of 39, Linda carried on with remarkable strength, providing for her family with unwavering love while instilling in her children the value of hard work.
Linda cared for her community for over 30 years as a waitress at local diners most notably, Frisch’s and Cracker Barrel. Her regulars knew that they could find comfort in homestyle cooking, a warm smile, and one of Linda’s signature quick-witted remarks. She was a character. Linda always had fun being around her family playing euchre or rook or watching UK basketball. She loved family and always wanted everyone to get along. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Walton, though in her later years she would connect with Seven Hills Church online. Linda was baptized at 83 years old.
Surviving Linda is her sister; Candy (Ted) Hurley, children; Daniel J Justice, Roxane (Dave) Lance and Carrie Sue Justice, grandchildren; William (Kristy Meeks) Martin; Candis (Christopher) Simpson, Randall (Lisa) Webster, Kara (Matthew) Lamar; Seth (Ashton) Bates, her great grandchildren (who she was especially proud of); Alyce (Andy) Strimple and their daughter Evie Strimple, Taylor Meeks, Grant Simpson, Owen Simpson, Henry Webster, Samuel Webster, and Rhett Lamar.
Please join family and friends for a funeral to celebrate the life of Linda Justice. You are encouraged to wear your best University of Kentucky Basketball attire in honor of their number one fan.
Services will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Walton, KY 41094. Visitation held from 2:00 – 4:00pm, with a funeral service beginning at 4:00. Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Walton Cemetery.
