Obituary For Lois Margaret Parrott
Lois Margaret Parrott, 78, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Born in Dayton, Kentucky, on November 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Parrott. Lois had a lifelong love of sports. She proudly played women’s basketball for the University of Kentucky and also enjoyed playing softball and bowling. In her quieter moments, Lois liked watching game shows, especially Jeopardy! Besides being an avid reader, she was also a devoted animal lover and had many pets throughout her life, caring for them as if they were her own children.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Parrott, James Parrott, and Walter Parrott, and her sister, Shirley Parrott.
Lois is survived by her brother, Raymond (Ione) Parrott; her sisters, Barbara Stinnett and Janet Newberry; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky.
