Obituaries

Louise Kathryn Bennett, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born in 1939 to her late parents, William and Mandge Akron. Louise was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Bennett, and her son, Kyle Lee Bennett.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Bennett-Farrell (Richard), and her son, Kevin Dean Bennett (Jennifer); her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Bennett, Justin Huemmer, Tyler Bennett, Makayla Huemmer-Ward, Ashely Bennett-Hafner, Josh Bennett, and Bryson Bennett; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Nora James Hafner and Clay Colleen Ward. She will also be greatly missed by her lifelong best friend, Jane Piercefield, as well as her dear friends, Michelle Anderson and Teri Grabill.

Louise was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Walton, a passionate University of Kentucky basketball fan, a tremendous volunteer, and an avid reader and walker. She will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to others, and the love she shared with family and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience. Louise will be laid to rest beside her husband at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
