Obituary For Majorell Kowolonek
Majorell Kowolonek, 57, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Originally from Newport, she cherished numerous friendships that remained strong throughout her life. Majorell was a radiant soul, known for her ability to connect with strangers, brighten their day, and remind them of their worth. Her lively spirit and love for uplifting others were truly remarkable, powered by her deep faith in Jesus.
Over the past few years, Majorell bravely faced a fierce battle against cancer. Yet, she faced each moment with courage, seizing the opportunity to travel and explore new experiences even as she fought her illness. Majorell had a zest for life and an immense love for those around her. She leaves behind not only her family but also countless friends who supported her during her journey.
Majorell was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Kowolonek, her sister, Karen Sue Kowolonek and her husband, Jose Vazquez.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy Mae Kowolonek; her son, Charles Kowolonek; sister Debora (Todd) Reach; brothers Stephen (Shonda) Kowolonek and Tommy Kowolonek; along with a cherished aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 12-2 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 30th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Ft. Thomas. Majorell will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.
