Obituary For Marc Anthony Knoll

Marc Anthony Knoll, 70, of Bellevue, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 3, 1956, in Great Falls, MT, he was the cherished son of Leo and Margaret Knoll.

Marc was a 1975 graduate of Finnytown High School in Cincinnati, OH, where he was the star of the football team. Some of his accolades include East/West All Star, All City, All League and Enquirer Player of the Week. A devoted member of Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue, KY, Marc’s faith was an important part of his life.

An avid traveler and lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, Marc also had a remarkable talent as a master model maker and artist. He received numerous awards and cash prizes for his intricate model train setups, model airplanes, and paintings.

Above all, Marc will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Mary Knoll; his son, Anthony (Jennifer) Knoll; daughter, Stephanie Knoll; brother, Leo Knoll; sisters, Sue Garcia and Judi (Dan) Schmid; and grandchildren, Morgan Roy and Allison Knoll.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that was very dear to Marc. Donations may be made at StJude.org.

Marc’s life was a testament to creativity, devotion, and love for family—a legacy that will live on in all who knew him.
