Marilyn (Carpenter) Trusty

Marilyn (82) died on Tuesday, January 2nd after a brief battle with cancer. Marilyn was born in Chicago, Illinois to late Lawrence E. Carpenter PhD and June (Dunbar) Carpenter on February 27, 1941. She is also preceded by her husband of 50 years Frank O. Trusty and her grandson Logan F. Trusty.

She is survived by four children: Robert W. Bradford (Rebecca) of Maysville, KY; Frank O. Trusty (Sonja) of Hooks, TX; Michael D. Trusty (Kimberly) of Fort Mitchell, KY and Stephen C. Trusty (Beth) of Lakeside Park, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Andrew Bradford, Brandon Trusty, Alecia Preston, Andrew Preston, Luke J. Trusty, Hannah Brett and Trevor Booth and a great-granddaughter Ellie Brett.

Marilyn was a resident of Fort Mitchell, KY for over 50 years where she was an active volunteer at Beechwood School and a member of the Fort Mitchell Country Club where she was a regular on the tennis courts. She also volunteered/worked at the Parish Kitchen for over 10+ years. Then when her twin grandsons were born in 2008 she babysat them.

Upon Marilyn’s request, there will be no services.
