Obituary For Mark D'ambrosio

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark D’ambrosio, age 67, after a long battle with leukemia. Mark’s passing on January 29, 2025 leaves a great void in the lives of everyone who knew him,but his legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Mark was a salesman for Arlinghaus Builders for over 30 years.

His sense of humor was one of his defining traits, always ready with a witty remark or joke to bring a smile to those around him. The Christmas Eve parties that he hosted were the highlight of his year and found him playing drums and putting everyone in the holiday spirit !

Mark enjoyed sports, playing baseball and basketball growing up. He loved attending the Newport Italianfest with family, which reflected his strong connection to his Italian heritage.

His favorite past-time was spent with his 4 grandsons who affectionately called him ” Pop O”.

Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Terri D’Ambrosio; his children, Jamie Dawson and Dominic (Savhana) D’Ambrosio; his grandchildren, Manning Dawson, Luca, Enzo, and Gio D’Ambrosio; his siblings, Toni D’Ambrosio and Gina (Mark) Cooper; his niece, Amanda D’Ambrosio; and nephews, Bobby Hussey, and John and Michael Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy.

A service for Mark’s will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation from 6:00pm until 7:00pm with Mass starting at 7:00pm. A reception will follow the mass in the Church undercroft from 8:00pm until 10:00pm.

He will be deeply missed, but forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
