Obituary For Marlene Quinn

Marlene Kuyper Quinn (née Weigel) passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026.

Marlene was a devoted Den Mother for the Boy Scouts in the 1960s and later a dedicated Girl Scout Leader from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s, guiding and mentoring countless young people. She served as an Elder at Northside Christian Church, where she was a faithful member for over 40 years, and most recently attended Dry Ridge Christian Church.

Marlene was preceded in death by her first husband, James P. Kuyper; her second husband, Edward W. Quinn; her sons, James E. Kuyper and Terry P. Kuyper; her stepson, Timothy Quinn; her grandsons, Terrence E. Kuyper, Steven L. Phillips Jr., and Nicholas D. Jones; and her great-grandson, Lonnell B. Pope Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Erin (Steve) Phillips; her son, Jann Quinn; her stepchildren, Michael, Patrick, Katie, and Nancy Quinn; and those she cherished as her own children, Bruce Zepf, David Henson Sr., and Bernadette Day. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jaime, Tera, and Brittany Kuyper; Jessie and Ashley Phillips; and Brett and Kayla Quinn, along with 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson expected in May.

A visitation for Marlene will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky from 5pm-8pm. A service will be held the following day (Saturday, March 21) at 10:00am at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
