Martha Lou Goodwin (nee Dolan), 72, of Erlanger, KY, passed away peacefully under hospice care, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Baptist Village in Erlanger, KY, surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born in Memphis, TN, to the late Joseph “Popeye” Dolan Jr. and Gloria Jeanne Dolan. She was a homemaker, loving mother to her three children, and avid cat and animal lover.

Martha and her family were an emergency foster family for many years, she spent much of her free time volunteering at local animal shelters and was a volunteer for Hospice.

She is survived by her children, Rob (Melanie) Goodwin, Bryan Goodwin, and Belinda (Brian) Nitschke; and her brother, Joseph “Eddie” (Judy) Dolan III.

Martha also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Ethan (Dakota) Nitschke, Zoë and Zane Goodwin, and Peyton Nitschke; and her great-grandchildren, Maisy and Dalton Nitschke.

Services for Martha will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family.
