Obituary For Mary Carol Quinn

Mary Carol Quinn (nee: Rieselman), born February 17, 1935 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 30, 2025.

Carol raised 6 children with her late husband of 65 years, Leonard T. Quinn. She is survived by Tammy Hendrixson (Andy), Kelly Hitter (Paul), Julie Ludwig (Dave), Jenny Straub (Brian), Mike Quinn (Jenny), and Amy Quinn Dye (Kenny). She delighted in her growing family of grandchildren, Jim Hendrixson, Alex Berling (Brian), Trey Hitter, Ben Ludwig (Tamela), Emily Artner (Chris), Riley Quinn, Peyton Quinn, and Ian Straub along with her great-grandchildren, Logan Hendrixson, Felix Berling, Neely, Teddy, and Rudy Artner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Anna Rieselman along with her four siblings, Jimmy Rieselman, Leo “ Butch” Rieselman, Joe Ann Rieselman, and Jean White.

Carol was a proud 1953 graduate of Holy Cross High School and a 1956 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing.

Throughout her life, Carol gave of her time to nonprofit organizations including Be Concerned and the Covington Cursillo Movement. She had an unwavering Catholic faith and her greatest gifts to all who knew her were her limitless kindness, remarkable patience and being a very caring listener. She loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, and watching golf tournaments on TV. Carol’s love for her family was boundless and she took great pride in their accomplishments and the happiness they brought to her life. She waited all year for Christmas because she loved the excitement and joy it brought to all who were lucky to receive her thoughtful gifts.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th from 4:00-6:00 pm at St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Road, Erlanger, KY 41018. Mass of Christian burial will be immediately following visitation at 6:00 pm at the church.
