Obituary For Mary Frances "Faith" Loschiavo
Mary Frances "Faith" Loschiavo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by her family.
Born on March 20, 1941, to the late Marianne "Murny" and Herby Wendling, Faith was a beacon of warmth and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a proud graduate of Holy Cross High School in Latonia, KY.
Faith was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Loschiavo, and her dear children, Regina Renee, Ryan, Brad, Tony and Joe Loschiavo.
Despite these profound losses, she found strength and purpose in her surviving family: her children, Andy Loschiavo (Lori), Tommy Loschiavo, Gina Harmon (Phil), Luke Loschiavo (Amy), Brent Loschiavo (Billie), Ethan Loschiavo (Jenny), and Angela Loschiavo. She also leaves behind her siblings, Melody Dacey (Jim, deceased), Randi Dacey (Mike), Mark "Herby" Wendling (Janice), Mike Wendling, and Shelly Devoto (Joe). Her siblings went to visit her and care for her every single week and were always available to offer their healthcare knowledge, love, support and guidance to her children.
Faith's legacy is carried forward by a large and loving family that includes 30 grandchildren and a growing number of great-grandchildren. She was adored by her numerous nieces, nephews, and a vast network of friends who became family through the years. She always made time to host family gatherings and attend sporting events for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Faith had a gift for making her home a place of refuge and joy for everyone who entered. Her kindness extended beyond her family to the community, where she was revered for her kindness and open-hearted spirit. Faith was a devout member of St. Pius X Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Bereavement Committee Member, and various other volunteer positions, including cleaning the Church after Mass.
Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional caregivers and staff at Legacy Living for their devoted care and compassion during Faith's residency.
Visitation and Mass will be held to celebrate Faith's life on June 18, 2026, at St. Pius X Church, located at 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Mass will be held at 6:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to honor her memory and celebrate the remarkable life she led in the Church Undercroft after Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Faith's memory to St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017, or the Alzheimer's Association via online at the link below.
