Obituaries

Mary Frances True Colston, age 78, of Florence, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at her residence. She was a retired Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Johnson Controls in Erlanger, KY.

Mary was a devoted member of Violet Ridge Church of Christ in Crittenden, where she faithfully served the Lord by teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also found great joy in praising God through traditional hymns. Mary enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies, shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She had a beautiful smile, a kind disposition, and was loved by all she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Edward True and Mary Ellen (Howard) True, and her sister, Donna Mae Tatum, and her brother, Johnny W. True.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald Eugene Colston; her daughters, Angie Sterling (Jon) and April Hildebrant (Tim); her sister, Valerie True-Perkins (Jeffrey); her grandson, Cooper Sterling; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Violet Ridge Church of Christ, with the funeral service immediately following.

Committal services will take place at Walton Cemetery in Walton, KY.
