Obituary For Mary Kathleen Moher

Mary Kathleen Moher (nee. Benke), age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Kathy was born on March 9, 1953, in Covington, Kentucky, and spent most of her childhood and life in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Kathy had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Her warmth, compassion, and sweet nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, David Moher; her son, Matt Moher and his wife, Esther Moher, and their children, Elijah, Adalyn & William; and her son Ryan Moher and his wife, Lindy Moher, and their children, Kaleb & Avrey. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara (Dave) Seibel, Thomas (Linda) Benke and Karen (Tom) Dickerson.

Of all the roles Kathy held throughout her life, being a grandmother brought her some of her greatest joy. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and took every opportunity to fill their hearts with love, encouragement, and cherished memories. Her family was the center of her world, and she found true happiness in watching them grow and thrive.

Kathy’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and selflessness. She taught those around her the importance of family, compassion, and treating others with grace. While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her forever.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Kathy’s beautiful spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m., Friday, June 12th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Ft. Thomas.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I grew up on Rossford Avenue and went to grade school with Kathy. I have fond memories of your mom and dad too. Kathy always had a smile on her face. Rest in peace Kathy. My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of Kathy's family. Mary Catherine (Heringer) Brooks
