Mary Lou Deavy (née Beiting), age 85, of Dayton, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Mary Lou lived a life shaped by faith, kindness, and quiet strength. She was a devoted homemaker and a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Fort Thomas, KY. Born on January 12, 1941, in Highland Heights, KY, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Ralph and Martha Catherine (née Hiance) Beiting. Growing up in a large, lively family helped shape her generous spirit and her deep appreciation for togetherness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ten siblings; her husband, James Henry Deavy; her son, Kevin Deavy; and her daughter, Michelle Deavy.

Mary Lou leaves behind her son, David (Lisa) Deavy, and her cherished granddaughter, Marisa Deavy, who brought her endless joy. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, each of whom carries a piece of her gentle heart.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Fort Thomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Stef Bankemper. Burial will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
