Obituary For Matthew Edward Hirschauer
Matthew Edward Hirschauer, 59, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on October 28, 2024. Born on March 14, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Matthew was a dedicated United States Army veteran and a beloved member of the First Church of Christ in Burlington, Kentucky.
Matthew is predeceased by his father, Paul Hirschauer. He is survived by his mother, Ann Hirschauer; his loving wife of 31 years, Catrina Hirschauer; and their children: Matthew (Angela), Katja (Francesco) Melina, Jordan, and Taylor, along with her fiancé, Elijah Monhollen. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Kollen, Aliyah, Hadley, Lionel, and Aspen.
Matthew is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Kathy), Tom (Anne), and Victoria (Mike) Bennett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, located at 6080 Camp Ernst Rd, Burlington, KY 41005, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
