Obituary For Melissa Faye Newton
Melissa Faye Newton, 56, of Newport, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 25, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Juanita Bowman.
In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil "Beaver" Bowman, and sisters, Mary Smith and Joyce Wooten.
Melissa leaves behind her husband, Harvey Newton; daughter, Brandie (Ryan Gribble) Newton; brothers, Thomas Bowman and Leland Bowman; grandchildren, Lindsay Goff, Jordan Goff and Rylee Gribble; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
A Celebration of Melissa's Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Ft. Thomas Recreational Center, 950 South Ft. Thomas Avenue, Ft. Thomas, KY 41075.
