Obituary For Michael Alan Sturgeon, Sr.
Michael Alan Sturgeon, Sr., age 59, of Verona, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
Mike had a passion for tractor pulls and enjoyed traveling near and far to attend them. He also loved collecting wood carvings and tinkering with his vehicles—Mopar, of course. Vacations to Siesta Key, Florida, were another favorite pastime. A devoted football fan, Mike proudly cheered for both the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Above all, Mike was a loving father, brother, and grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Michael A. Sturgeon, Jr., Andrew Michael Sturgeon, Matthew Dwayne Sturgeon, and Allison Renee Sturgeon; granddaughter, Carter Grace Sturgeon; parents, Donald and Barbara Sturgeon; brother, Matthew Sturgeon; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, no formal service will be held at this time.
