Obituary For Michael G. Ferguson
Michael George Ferguson passed peacefully on to the Lord at Hospice of Cincinnati on June 2nd, 2023, at the age of 69. Michael was born on October 3rd, 1953, to Betty and William Ferguson in Cincinnati. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tony. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Niesen) Ferguson, Cincinnati; sons Michael Jr. (Carly) and Chase, grandsons Colton ad Rhett Ferguson all of Austin, Texas; stepchildren Laura Brown (Dave) and Christian Zenni (Lexie) and step grand children Vera, Celia and Addison, all of Cincinnati. He is also survived by his sisters Nanci Doran, of Mansfield, Texas; Suzie Sullivan (Terry); JoJo Baltes (Mike); Patti Reilly (Tom) all of Cincinnati and brother Bob Ferguson (Ann) of Huntersville, North Carolina. He is also survived by sister-in-law Carol Ferguson (Tony deceased) of Naples, Florida. His is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from St. Antonius Grade School, Elder High School ‘72, and University of Miami (FL). Michael’s entire working career was at SETCO Industries, Cincinnati, along with his father, brothers, and nephews. Michael began work at SETCO in 1974 and retired in 1999 as Executive Vice President of Manufacturing. Following retirement, Michael and Jane owned and operated the Wine Cellar in Mt Adams, Ohio. Michael also had a penchant for running, completing over 70 marathons in his lifetime.
Visitation is on Friday July 7th from 2-4pm at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati OH 45233. A celebration of life to follow.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all personnel at Cincinnati Jewish Hospital, Kenwood and Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash for the comforting care extended to Michael and his family just prior to his passing.
