Michael W. Evans, age 83, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away on August 6, 2026. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 15, 1942, to Charles Evans and Lola Ware Evans.

Michael lived a life of devoted service to his country and community. He proudly served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army before dedicating his career to law enforcement with the Kentucky State Police and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. A man of faith, Michael was also a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maggie Evans, who passed away in June 2026. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tracy Neltner (Paul), Jessica Kuper (Rob), and Erin Schaeffer (A.J.); his 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Barbara Sandifer, Kathleen Schrader, Cynthia Evans, and Flossie Jean Crawford. His life of service and the love he shared with his family will be remembered with gratitude and cherished by all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Road, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Visitation will begin at the church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY, PLEASE NO PLANTS OR GIFTS.
