Obituary For Michol T. Williamson
Michol T. Williamson, 79, of Florence, KY died peacefully at her home Monday evening, February 16, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Michol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Mildred Deutenburg, and her loving husband of 58 years Richard Williamson.
She is survived by son, Steven (Cindy) Williamson of Florence, KY and daughter, Teresa Williamson of Erlanger, KY; 5 grandchildren, Meagan, William (Samantha), Brooke (Kyle), Dylan, and Dalton; 2 great grandchildren, Alexis and Jayden; sister, Patricia (Roy) Wilson of St. Cloud, FL, and sibling-in-laws, Kenneth (JoAnn) of Villa Hills. She has numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Michol successfully ran her own business Michol’s Art Studio as an art teacher specializing in oils and watercolors. After retirement, she continued to host an art club with her long-time students, many of which still gather today. She was a devout Christian and member of the First Church of Christ faith community in Burlington, KY. Michol devoted her life to taking care of others including her mother and her husband who had suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. She loved to travel, especially annual trips to Gatlinburg, TN, Hilton Head & Charleston, SC. She would regularly dine with friends or play cards. She was able to fulfill her lifelong dream by going to Paris with her sister and niece, after which she painted many beautiful Parisian scenes.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service, 1:30 PM, at First Church of Christ, 6080 Camp Ernst Rd., Burlington, KY 41005. Entombment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
