Nancy Dow McDaniel Millar Pruiett, age 95, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 26, 2026.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert L. Millar and Leroy Pruiett. She was a devoted Christian who loved serving the Lord and spending time with her family. Nancy enjoyed gardening, traveling, singing, and faithfully serving in her churches throughout her life.

She served at Trinity Baptist Church in Newport, Kentucky; First Baptist Church of Highland Heights, Kentucky; Knoxville Baptist Church; and First Baptist Church of Newport, Kentucky.

She is survived by her children: Mark Millar (Donna), Darlene Long (Ron), Connie Lewis (David), Rick Millar (Nora), Steve Millar, and Donna Smith. She was also preceded in death by her sons, David Millar and David Pruiett.

Nancy also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Highland Heights, Kentucky, on June 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
