Obituary For Nina Elizabeth Sellmeyer
Nina Elizabeth Sellmeyer (nee Morehead) of Edgewood, KY, 90, passed away peacefully at her home on September 9, 2026.
She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Henry R., her grandson, Henry J. Sellmeyer (Jill), her parents, Wilbur and Martha (Pope) Morehead, brothers Wilbur (Margaret-deceased), Richard (Isabel-deceased), and Robert Sellmeyer.
She is survived by her three children, Pamela Sellmeyer, Karen (Shaler) Derickson, and Henry/Hank/Hap Sellmeyer. Devoted grandmother to Shay (Whitney), Alex (Grace), Henry (fiancé Bri), Jennifer (Kevin) and Michael Sellmeyer. Great-grandmother to Lillian, Griffin, Lenora, Tatum, and Margaret. Nina is also survived by her sister, Martha Bailey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 10:30AM-11:30AM at St. John’s Church in Covington, KY. Mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation at 11:30AM. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Church 627 Pike St. Covington, KY 41011 or the charity of donor’s choice.
