Obituary For Nola S. Marcum
Nola S. Marcum, 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026. She was the cherished daughter of Pearl and Mary Smith born on April 14, 1936.
She worked for many years at Cincinnati Bell. She was a devout member of the Newport City Church of God; she enjoyed crocheting and loved her time spent with the grandkids and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Marcum, brothers Herman Smith and George Smith, sister Ruby Hoskins and brother-in-law Harrison “Junior” Mink.
She is survived by her daughter Tammie (Richard) Lovelace; son Timothy (Terry) Marcum; brothers Pearl (Darnell) Smith and Howard (Laurie) Smith and sister Edith Mink; grandchildren Tara Marcum, Timothy (Tiffany) Marcum Jr., Aubrey Marcum, Marley (Kelsee)Carter, Autumn Carter and Aidan (Riley) Carter; and great-grandchildren Carter Patterson, Caylee Patterson, Brooklynn Marcum, Heidi Holt, Priscilla Marshall, Layla Marshall and Lillian Gibson.
A visitation will be held at the Newport City Church of God,401 Keturah Street, Newport, KY on Thursday July 30, 2026, from 4:00 -7:00pm.
The funeral service will begin at 7:00pm. Entombment will be at 10:00am on Friday at Floral Hills Cemetery.
