Obituary For Pamela Ann Dorman
Pamela Ann Dorman, 69, of Lakeside Park, KY passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Hospice Care of Saint Elizabeth, Edgewood, KY.
Pam was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell and a retired Senior Programmer Analyst from The Western & Southern Financial Group. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, step-mother, step-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Pam enjoyed hosting special events. Her passions included decorating her home, cooking and baking. Her homemade Christmas cookies, fudge, and fruitcakes were enjoyed by many. Pam developed close relationships with her Cancer Care team members – gifting them her hand-sewn jewelry bags and coveted baked goods. Pam also enjoyed traveling with friends and family and wintering at her Florida condo.
Despite a lengthy battle with cancer, Pam always remained positive and upbeat. She continually showed great compassion and love for others. Pam’s endearing personality made it easy for her to develop lasting relationships with people everywhere she went.
Pam was preceded in death by her father William “Bill” Bertke, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years James Dorman; her son Matthew Dorman; her stepson Christopher Dorman (Angie); her mother Margaret Bertke; her siblings Patty Gohman (Chris), Peggy Jansen (Bill), Paula Penn (Gary), William “Bill” Bertke II (Jenny); her step-grandchildren Aidan Dorman and Cayliegh Dorman; her sister-in-law Julie Dorman; 13 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 Thursday July 2, 2026, from 8 – 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. A reception will immediately follow mass in the church undercroft. Interment will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: Hospice Care of Saint Elizabeth, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
