Pamela Jane Wheeler, age 74, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

She was the loving daughter of the late Henry and Grace Mallicoat. Pamela was the beloved wife of the late Jerry Ellis Wheeler and the devoted mother of her late son, Michael Shane Wheeler.

She leaves behind her loving son, Chad Wheeler (Rachel), and her cherished grandchildren, Jillian Wheeler, Xavier Lea, Avery Wheeler, Colt Wheeler, Merryweather Wheeler, Wesley Wheeler, Darian Wheeler, and Allison Wheeler, along with a great-grandson.

Pamela adored her grandchildren, and they were truly her world. She found great joy in teaching them how to read and spell, and her love, patience, and gentle guidance will forever be cherished.

Pamela worked as a teacher’s assistant for the Dayton Public School District in Ohio, where she devoted herself to helping and encouraging children, touching many young lives along the way.

She also enjoyed arts and crafts and had a special love for genealogy, spending countless hours researching and preserving her family’s history. Pamela’s kind heart, creative spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Highway 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, with Bro. Charlie Issacs officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Petersburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stith Funeral Home to assist the Wheeler family with funeral arrangements.
