Obituary For Paul H. Luersen

Paul H. Luersen, 76, of Cold Spring, passed away on Thursday, May 14th at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

He retired from the Ft. Thomas Police Department, and then he worked as a Security Guard at Proctor & Gamble and St. Elizabeth Hospital, Ft. Thomas. Paul was also a member of the Ft. Thomas Masonic Lodge #808 F. & A.M. and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

He was preceded in death by parents, August & Mildred Luersen and daughter, Alison Bucklen.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carol (nee Wefer) Luersen; son, Jason (Kim) Tinsley; grandson, Milo Tinsley; brother, Carl (Jody) Luersen and sisters, Norelyn (Rod) Springer, Wilma (Sam) Luersen-Poff & Joan (Bob) Gieske.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 19th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 20th at St. Therese Church, Southgate with Interment to follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
