Obituary For Paul Harold Lotz

Paul Harold Lotz passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, leaving behind a full life shaped by family, service, and lifelong interests.

Born July 8, 1942, in Dayton, Kentucky, to Rosemary (Whitehead) and Edward Lotz, Paul grew up in the Cincinnati area and graduated from Princeton High School, where he met his wife, Phyllis, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eddie.

He proudly served in the United States Navy before joining the Cincinnati Police Department, where he spent his career. He later retired to Sarasota, Florida.

He enjoyed golfing, time with friends, and was active in many organizations, including the Cincinnati Motorcycle Club, the Corvette Club of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Street Rods, the Police and Fireman’s Boat Club, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Masonic Lodge, and the Moose Lodge in Bradenton, Florida.

Paul is survived by his children, Kim (Rick) and Ted; grandchildren, Kaeli (Kenny) Erskine, Helen, Jo, and Stella; and great-grandchildren, Rory and Ryder.
