Phyllis Ann Vanover, 52, of Covington, KY, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very crafty. Phyllis enjoyed crocheting and doing her nails. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father: Bill Smith, Sr., and son: Joseph Lee Vanover, Jr. She is survived by her mother: Leila Moore; loving husband of 31 years: Joseph Vanover, Sr.; children: Zachary Smith, Kimberly Vanover and Stephanie Vanover; brother: William Dennis Smith, Jr.; 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the Eulogy Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association c/o diabetes.org.
