Randy Kunstman of Independence, age 65, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 20, 2026. He was born in Covington, KY on March 8, 1961, to the late Carrie Marie {Easton} and Louis Kunstman.

Randy was an honest, hardworking, and generous man. He loved to spend time with his son, Tyler, and he absolutely cherished his grandson, Everett. Randy enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He also spent many weekends circle track racing at the demo derby. This was a hobby he started with Tyler and continued to enjoy.

Randy drove a tow truck for 35+ years of his life. He also poured concrete for GR Trumble Construction for 28 years. While working for Trumble full-time, he began towing part-time for Kenton County Motors which later became Jude’s Towing. Eventually, Randy became a full-time driver for Jude’s where he worked for 21 years. He was a beloved dad, grandpa, brother, and friend who is loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.

He is survived by his loving son, Tyler (Ashlie) Kunstman; beloved grandson, Everett Reed Kunstman; sister, Mitzi Harper; brother, Rick (Donna) Green; as well as several other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.
