Obituary For Richard Beck
Richard E. Beck, age 77, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 13, 1945 to Edwin and Esther Beck (nee Hachtel).
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Shirley A. Beck (nee Gillespie); loving daughters, Michelle Beck, Kathy (Phillip) Howard, and Jennifer (Gary) Sharon; grandchildren, Chelsea Pike, Justin Beck, Gary Sharon, Ashley Wolfe, Jacob Baker; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Doug (Sue) Beck; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Richard was a gospel singer for 45 years; he sang with The Ball Family and his own group, Compassion Quartet. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and teaching Karate. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Ceremony at 1:00 pm, all at Newcomer Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
