Obituary For Richard L. Spencer
Richard “Rich” Spencer, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Rich was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his late parents, Herbert and Lilly Young Spencer. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Sue Spencer, and his daughter, Karen Spencer.
Rich leaves behind his children, Mark Campbell (Teresa), James Campbell (Kathy), Richard A. Spencer, Brian Campbell (Anna), Carrie Gullett, Curtis Spencer (Sally), and Jamie Spencer (Holly); his sister, Carrie Schultz; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
