Obituary For Richard Lee Moore

Richard Lee Moore, age 68, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026.

Richard was born in Covington, Kentucky, on February 8, 1958, to Charles and Louise Reiner Moore. He dedicated many years of his life as a forklift operator with Duro Bag Company, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

Richard found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved working on cars, especially alongside his father and brothers, creating memories that he cherished throughout his life. Whether he was under the hood of a car or relaxing watching wrestling, Richard appreciated the moments that brought him joy.

Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, whose love and support meant everything to him. Richard, RayeAnn, and Jared were inseparable and always tried to do things together. Richard also fought both bladder and lung cancer and won. He also successfully stopped smoking after heart double bypass surgery.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved son, Matthew Moore; his sister, Laura McQuerry; and his brothers, Bobby, Albert, and Steve Moore.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, RayeAnn Moore; his son, Jared Moore; his brother, Michael Moore; his sister, Anita Westerkamp; his cherished granddaughter, Lily Ann Wynn Moore; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss his presence and hold his memory close to their hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.

The family invites those who knew and loved Richard to share online condolences and memories at www.stithfuneralhome.com.
