Obituary For Rita Ann Knepfle
Rita Ann (nee Frieling) Knepfle, 99, of California, Kentucky, passed away on June 9, 2026.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Arthur Knepfle; brother, Bill Frieling; sister, Rosemary
Piller; her parents; and aunt, Rosa.
She is survived by her daughters, Barb Kramer (Mark) of Edgewood, Kathy Baker, and Patty Martin (Steve) both of California, KY; sons, Rob Knepfle of Cold Spring, Ed Knepfle (Kathy) of Fort Thomas, and Rick Knepfle of Olive Branch, MS; 11 grandchildren, Robin Adams, Eric Kramer, David Baker, Justin Baker, Allie Neltner, Andy Knepfle, Kelly Ruehr, Emily Schneider, Julia Chandler, Rob Martin and Alicia Martin, (plus bonus, Stacie, Ashley, Jacquelyn and Amanda); 20 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Joseph Church (4011 Alexandria Pike) Cold Spring, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am.
Rita will be laid to rest with her husband at the St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church Parish (4011 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076) or to Saints Peter & Paul Parish (2160 California Crossroads California, KY 41007).
