Robert Blase Pikar, 87, of Fort Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

Bob and Lois, the love of his life, had just celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on April 20. He loved his family and spending time with them. Bob loved people and was quick witted, always ready with a funny story, joke or one-liner. He delighted in making people laugh.

Bob was a member of St. Thomas Parish in Ft. Thomas, KY and also attended St. Philip Parish in Melbourne, KY. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and a Knight of Columbus. Before his retirement, Bob was the proud owner of several grocery stores in Northern Kentucky.

Bob was born July 14, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH to Blase Joseph Pikar and Mary Barbara (nee: Lahni) Pikar. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward P. Pikar.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Ann (nee: Grupenhof), son, Dan, daughter-in-law Teresa (nee: Finke), grandchildren: Jonathan, Michael, William, and Mary Pikar along with his sister-in-law Marian Pikar.

Visitation is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at St. Thomas Church, 26 East Villa Place, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with Rev. Ross Kelsch, officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cold Spring, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the form of Masses, for either Bob Pikar or for the forgotten Souls in Purgatory.
