Obituary For Robert Lamar Kells
Robert Lamar Kells, affectionately known to many as Bob, passed away on July 6, 2026, in Union, Kentucky. He was born on December 6, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky, and his life was marked by steadfast commitment to family, devotion to loved ones, and a deep respect for those around him.
Bob was the beloved son of Donald Kells and Anne Kells, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also blessed with a caring step-mother, Pauline Jones, who survives him. Throughout his life, Bob drew great strength from his family and cherished the bonds they shared.
He is survived by his devoted former wife, Linda Ann Kells, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. His son, Jeffrey Todd Lamar Kells, was a source of immense pride and fulfillment to Bob, and their relationship was one of mutual admiration and loving support. Bob’s brother, James Kells, also survives him, sharing a lifetime of memories and the enduring connection that only siblings know.
Throughout his life, Bob was known for his strength of character, and unwavering support for those he loved. He approached life with a quiet dignity, touching many with his kindness and generosity. The legacy he leaves behind is one of integrity, loyalty, and a profound commitment to his family.
He was a Vice President of sales at Flexible Products in Atlanta, Georgia for many years and traveled all over. Bob enjoyed spending time on the golf course and never missed a UK football game.
As we remember Robert Lamar Kells, we honor a life well-lived and celebrate the lasting impression he made on those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege to share in his journey.
