Obituary For Ronald Louis Schultz

Ronald "Buzz" Louis Schultz, 83, passed away on April 02, 2026 St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Ron was born on February 16, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH to parents Louis and Hazel (nee: Threm) Schultz.

Ron was an avid golfer, fisher, and bowler. He was a life long member of the Bob White Club and a die hard Reds Baseball fan. His favorite thing was watching his grandkids play ball. Additionally, Ron was a member of St. Bernard Parish for many years and a proud Navy Veteran.

He is preceded in death by mother, Hazel Schultz, father, Louis Schultz, beloved wife, Dorothy Schultz, siblings; Frank Schultz, Phillip Schultz, Pat Hein.

Ron is survived by children Scott (Debbie) Schultz, Denise Sellers, Chris (Jeff) Campoamor, Jenny (Dave) Richardson, siblings; Allen Schultz, Bill Schultz, Larry Schultz, Peggy Hancock, Paula Richardson, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Bernard Parish, 401 Berry St. Dayton, KY 41074. Memorial Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Prayers to the "Schultz" family, Ron was a 1st cousin of mine ! From the "Threm" side ( "Maymie") Mary Ann Hall, I am her son Harry ! I am sure I talked to "Ron" at one of the Threm reunions, or as a kid at one those Threm, "Stanley Party's" or "Tupperware" party's, us kids played, our aunts enjoy the party's ( in the 60's)! I 'll see and talk to you again someday "Ronald Louis Schultz", Harry out!
