Obituary For Ronda Meconio
Ronda Meconio (née Perry), 73, of Edgewood, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 26, 2026.
Ronda was born on September 11, 1953, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late Rodney and Frances (née Wilcox) Perry. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who worked for Meijer for many years. Ronda took great pride in her work and was someone who could always be counted on.
Those who knew Ronda best described her as a “modern-day Mother Teresa.” She had an incredible heart and cared deeply for everyone around her. She looked after her elderly neighbors, was always willing to lend a helping hand, and made sure the people she loved knew they were cared for. Her family was her greatest joy and her biggest hobby. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, helping babysit her grandchildren, and bringing everyone together for family gatherings. She especially loved Christmas and the traditions and memories made with her family.
Ronda was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and the glue that held her family together. Her love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those around her will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Ronda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marco Meconio; her brother, Tom Perry; her sister, Teresa Perry; and her niece, Sarah Perry.
Ronda is survived by her children, Bobbi Terry, Larry (Dawn) Meredith, Chris (Sarah) Meconio, and Tony Meconio; her grandchildren, Nick Meredith, Jon Terry, Izabelle Terry, Austin (Hannah) Meredith, Charley Meconio, and Holland Meconio; her great-granddaughter, Riley Meredith; her siblings, Sandy Perry, Karen Perry, Cindy Utz, and Jackie Perry; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky. A service will follow at 1:30 p.m., with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
