Obituary For Rosalie Beiting

Rosalie Beiting (née Wallingford), of California, Kentucky, passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on November 27, 1938, to the late Thomas and Bessie (née Nichelson) Wallingford, Rosalie lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, laughter, friendship, and an unwavering independent spirit.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Jerry Beiting; her parents, Thomas and Bessie Wallingford; and her siblings, Thomas, Bobby, Thelma, and Helen.

She is survived by her loving children, Greg Beiting, Regina Kovacs (Tom), Keith Beiting (Sue), Phillip Beiting (Robin), and Desiree Bowling (Jason); five cherished grandchildren; two beloved great-grandchildren; along with extended family members and countless friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Rosalie never met a stranger. Outgoing, active, and full of life, she was often the life of the party and brought joy wherever she went. Her home was the gathering place for family celebrations, holidays, and impromptu visits, and everyone knew they were always welcome at Rosalie's table. She loved being around people and treasured the friendships she maintained throughout her life, including regular lunches with her grade school, and other cherished friends.

She had a passion for travel and adventure, enjoyed reading, adored her dogs, and rarely missed a day of swimming. Remarkably tech-savvy, Rosalie embraced new technology with enthusiasm and kept up with the world around her. She was known for her quick wit, great sense of humor, and a little bit of spice that made her uniquely herself.

Above all, Rosalie loved her family deeply and took great pride in the life she and Jerry built together. The memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy of warmth, strength, friendship, and joy will continue through the many lives she touched.
