Obituary For Roy Eugene Burchfield
Roy Eugene Burchfield, 76, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away on June 18, 2026. He was born in Dayton, KY on March 6, 1950, to his parents Willie Edward and Janet Lee (Spencer) Burchfield.
He worked for the Kentucky Road Department and an Arcade Company. Roy was mechanic at heart, he could take anything apart and put it back together, he loved tinkering around with things and drawing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cindy Burchfield, and brother William Burchfield Jr.
He is survived by 2 sons; 2 daughters; brothers, Ron (Della) Burchfield and Charles (Angel) Burchfield; sisters, Jackie (Jerry) Riehle, Janet (Chris) Holtz and Gwen (Randy) Smith; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria on Tuesday June 23, 2026, from 5:00pm -7:00pm, the service will follow at 7:00pm. Graveside service will be on Wednesday June 24, 2026, at 11:00am at the Lewis County Memory Gardens.
