Obituary For Roy G. Head
Roy G. Head, 70, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his residence.
Roy was a Lt. Colonel in the US Army, where he served for 20 years, and also served as a Federal Agent with the DEA for 16 years. He was a collector of all things Star Trek and Bald Eagles.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Agnes Head.
He is survived by his wife, Robbin Head; children, Shayna (Jeffrey) Richter and Trajen (Deri-Ann) Head; step-children: Christy Smith, Farrell-John Smith and Jereme Smith; grandchildren: Rex Richter, Jenna Richter and Emeline Head; step-grandchildren: Ian Smith, Caleb Smith and Ivy Smith; step-great-grandchild, Kai Smith; brothers, Bob Head and Larry Head; niece, Danette Head; and the mother of his children, Paris Pegg.
A memorial visitation for Roy will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. Committal service will immediately follow at Ky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Ln., Williamstown, KY 41097.
